After using the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 for more than 2 years now, it was time to upgrade to the very new Olympus 25mm f/1.2 PRO that was introduced during Photokina in September 2016. I remember I got excited to work with it, so a few months later I was the happy owner of this amazing portrait lens!
Below a photo of the Olympus Pen EP-L 7 with the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 to show you the difference in size, and yes, the difference is huge..
I definitely notice the difference between the f/1.8 and f/1.2 lens, the blurred background is even more beautiful with this f/1.2 lens. I can’t wait to capture my next city trips/travels with this lens.
I did a photoshoot with this new lens and the Olympus E-PL 7 camera to show you how good it works for portrait and fashion work.

As you might know, the 25mm is the same as a 50mm on a full frame camera, what makes it a great all round lens.

Do you like the first results? I think it’s worth the investment if you wanna go pro with your Olympus camera!
