In Paris With The Olympus PEN
Last year we celebrated my birthday in London, and we enjoyed this so much, that we decided to do another citytrip during my birthday (Dec 23) again. This time we went to Paris for a few days. I only visited Paris twice during the Paris Photo Fair in November 7 and 6 years ago, so I really wanted to go back to this beautiful city!
I didn’t want to make to much pictures and I didn’t want to carry a huge camera, so the Olympus PEN E-PL9 was the perfect travel camera for us during this trip. I decided to only use one lens, the Olympus 17mm f/1.8 because this is my favourite angle for travel snapshots.
We visited all the highlights of the city like Louvre, Eiffel Tower (we went to the top at night!), Lafayette, Champs-Élysées, Montmartre etc. We also went to the Foundation Cartier museum and we did some Christmas shopping at the most beautiful stores. We enjoyed the time together and I would love to go back to this city during spring or summer!
As you might noticed, I’m showing every season a shoe trend from Sacha Shoes. This time I’m wearing western boots (in the most photos), what is really a must-have right now. I combined them with a skirt and a panty, but they also work great with jeans. I don’t think all shoes are good for a city trip where you are walking a lot, but these boots from Sacha Shoes were perfect! You can check these boots, but also other women shoes at their website.
And some iPhone shots:
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
