A Day At Photokina 2016

Yesterday was my first time at Photokina in Cologne. Photokina is the world’s leading trade fair for photo and video and you can’t even imagine how huge it is! All photography and video brands are showing their new released products and the visitors can touch and try these new products. The most of the products are not even for sale right away, but will be released by the end of 2016.

Together with a group of 25 photographers we went by bus (early in morning) from Amsterdam to Cologne. It was organized by Fotolab Kiekie x Olympus. Together with two other Olympus visionaries we walked around at the fair and we were impressed by all the new products and we wished we had more time! After a few hours it was time to visit the Olympus Playground for a healthy lunch and we were able to test the new Olympus PEN E-PL8. It was a fun day!

Sigma

I’ve been waiting for this lens for 3 years and it is finally released! The Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4 was amazing in real life! We were able to test this lens and I can’t wait to buy it in November when it will hit the stores.

At the left the Art 85mm f/1.4, the 50mm f/1.4, the 35mm f/1.4 (I have this lens and I love it!) and more lenses from the amazing Art series from Sigma!
