Behind The Scenes – Van Esch + Red Studio + Tropical
Februari started with some very nice photo shoots and a new light shaping tool! Read more to see some behind the scenes pictures.
The 1st of Februari I went to the south of The Netherlands to capture the lookbook for fashion designer Milou van Esch. I worked before with with make-up artist Peter Dwars and Milou to shot her graduation collection in June, but this time she made new designs to sell! The model was the funny and sweet Sarah @ Elvis Models and we had a great day! It was the first time that I worked with my new Profoto Umbrella Deep Silver L and I’m very happy with this new light shaping tool!
Time to add some colour!
Together with stylist Isabelle Kwantes and make-up artist Iris Zuidema we created a new editorial with two beautiful models from VDM Models. We used a white and a red background to give the story a strong contrast. More is coming soon.. :)
A Tropical Story
After many studio shoots it was time to capture a new story on a cool location again. I worked with stylist Nienke van Duinkerken and make-up artist Romina Mazzitelli and the beautiful model Tessa @ Touche Model Management. Also my intern (for one week) Noa joined us. It was a lovely day and I can’t wait to edit the pictures in Photoshop and finish the editorial!

Oh, I didn’t know you had a blog :) Going to be following you from now on. Really loved your work with Chapter Friday, can’t wait to see more :)
Ah Thanks Lesia! Yes I started this blog a while ago, because at my portfolio website there is no space for personal stories and I don’t like to publish everything on Facebook ;) Hope you like it!
