Behind The Scenes – Hotel Editorial

By the end of November I captured a fun and colorful story in a hotel room. It was time to create some new work to add to my upcoming book. I collected a creative team of a stylist and makeup artist and we created a moodboard. After that we found two perfect models (Chayenne @ It’s Me Model Management and Pauline @ Max Models) for this story and I booked the hotel room for two nights so we could shoot there one full day.

It was quite dark inside so I had to work with flash light. I used two Profoto D1 flashes, a small umbrella and a bigger Octabox, but it was a challenge to work with these flashes in a small room, so most of the time I used just one.

Martine Reurings did a great job on the styling, as you can see. And makeup artist Judith Dorman made some amazing hair and makeup looks! Have a look at the backstage images, captured by Anne Eigenraam. Soon I will publish the results!
