Behind The Scenes – Daylight Studio Shoot

Today I captured a campaign in my studio for a new jewelry brand called Crafts by Living Stories. I’ll wait for the brand to publish their unique story first, but we can already show the behind the scenes photos!

Makeup artist Hanan Chahid did a great job to create beautiful glowing makeup looks and we worked with two experienced models, Mara and Quirine. We worked in the studio, but without any artificial lights. Daylight was a better fit for this brand, so I used the Profoto Reflector SunSilver – to create a light golden glow – and daylight from the window.

I had three prime lenses with me, but I ended up using only the Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4 and the Canon 100mm f/2.8 L because of the beautiful sharp details. The Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 wasn’t what I was looking for this time. And of course the MacBook Air + Tethertools cable so the client was able to see the results right away.
