Alexandra Frida’s Fashion Concert

Fashion designer Alexandra Frida showed her collection at the third day of Downtown Fashion Week in Amsterdam. The Fashion Concert combines three loves of Alexandra: fashion, music and dance. Together with my best friend Elseline I was one of the girls/models who was wearing her collection during the event and we had a great time!

We are family and we both have the same surname: Vollebregt. The funny thing is: we both using our second names as our artist name: Alexandra Frida and Liselotte Fleur. We know each other for two years now and I was happy to capture her newest collection a few months ago! I also made her portrait at the top of this post.

Elseline and I were both dressed in the yellow feather print and had so much fun! My makeup was done by Eldridge Mullenhof, one of the makeup artist I worked with on a few shoots. The location was filled with nice audience and a happy ambience. I decided to give myself a little photography break, so I didn’t brought my camera. But of course I made some iPhone snapshots (with a bad quality because of the low light situations). Have a look!

        Beautiful location!

IMG_5259Twins! Every time we saw ourselves in the mirror we had a good laugh because we really looked the same. And my pictures (the cards in front of the image) was shown everywhere, even at the bathroom.

At the end of the party we were driven home by the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week taxi :)

Monday July 13 she will show her collection during the Amsterdam Fashion Week. And last but not least, she will also show her collection during New York Fashion week! So proud! Read the Dutch article about the NYFW at
