2017 Favorites And 2018 Resolutions

As a tradition, I write down every year about my favorites and resolutions. Here a throw back to My 2014 favorites and 2015 resolutions,  My 2015 favorites and 2016 resolutions and my 2016 favorites and 2017 resolutions.

        My favorite shoot

The shoot I liked the most was the shoot I did for MONKI. The Monki team came all the way from Sweden to work with us in Amsterdam for three days. It was amazing to see my photos in their stores in Europe and Asia and of course in the webshop.

        Travel Portraits

Something I really enjoy is traveling with my camera to capture local models on new locations. In March I went to Barcelona to work with 8 models from model agencies. It was one of the first shoots I did with my Sigma ART 85mm lens.

        New Lens

In 2017 I bought the Sigma Art 85mm lens and it was one of the best purchases I’ve made this year!

        Unexpected Publication

The British Vogue contacted me that they discovered this blog where I shared my Italy travel photos and they wanted to buy three photos for their June issue.

        my camera tattoo

Last but not least: my camera tattoo!

My resolutions, plans and WISHES for this year:

        – Same as the years before, I would like to spend even more time on this blog.

        – More commercial shoots for big (fashion) brands.

        – Shooting more portraits of models in another country.

        – Going on a working holiday with my boyfriend (he’s a filmmaker + photographer) and doing some other cool projects together.

I’m looking forward to 2018 and I wish you all the best! What are your resolutions?
